      What is the technology used in the Surfpay POS app?

      Alongside other technologies, the Surfpay POS app utilises the mobile devices’ NFC chips to transfer data between devices for making payments. This is called Contactless Payments on COTS (CPOC) as defined by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Surfpay is certified for this use.
