What is the technology used in the CheckoutX POS app?

Alongside other technologies, the CheckoutX POS app utilises the mobile devices’ NFC chips to transfer data between devices for making payments. This is called Contactless Payments on COTS (CPOC) as defined by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and CheckoutX is certified for this use.
