How do you process currencies?

If the card currency differs from the merchant’s transaction currency, Surfboard will present the transaction currency to the card in the terminal. Generally, we restrict merchants to using the same currency for both transactions and settlements. Should the merchant’s transaction currency differ from the settlement currency, Surfboard will handle the conversion to the settlement currency.
