How do I install CheckoutX SoftPOS?

Download the CheckoutX from the Google Play Store and install it on your device, like any other smartphone app.

Then, to start accepting payments you need a merchant account. Log in with your credentials at surfboardmerchant.com and then go to Terminals → Register new terminal. Select your store, enter an internal terminal name, and then add the 6 digits visible on your CheckoutX app.

After that, you need to accept access to the camera and microphone since these are used to ensure that the device is not tampered with during the transaction.

Once setup, you will be ready to start accepting payments. Either through your partner app or directly through the CheckoutX app if you have that type of setup.
