Both Surfpay POS app and SurfpayOne terminal need a functioning internet connection to be able to authorize transactions.
You need internet access in order to use the Surfpay POS app on your smartphone and accept transactions from customers. It can be either a wireless network (WiFi) connection or the mobile network (3G/4G/5G) on your phone.
The SurfpayOne terminal is delivered with a SIM card, but we still recommend you to connect to WiFi for more stable connection.
