      What is NFC?

      NFC is the abbreviation for Near-Field Communication. Mobile devices have NFC chips which enable transferring data between devices.

      Card payments using the Surfpay POS app on your own device require an NFC-enabled smartphone. NFC payments mean the customer can simply put their smartphone or contactless card next to your NFC device, tap it, and voila – you’ve received a payment! Easy peasy!
